Who we are

FreshSet is a locally owned and family operated business based in Lake Zurich, Illinois, serving real estate agents in the surrounding communities. You can reach us any time at anthony@getfreshset.com or 847.873.3009.

This policy explains what information we collect when you use getfreshset.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We keep it plain rather than legalistic, because we would rather you actually read it.

What we collect

When you place an order or send us a request, we collect the information you type into the form: your name, brokerage, email address, phone number, the listing or delivery address, your requested delivery date, any access instructions you give us, and any note you want written on a gift card.

When you pay, your card details go directly to our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We receive only a confirmation that payment succeeded, the amount, and the last four digits.

We also collect basic, non-identifying usage information about how the site is used — which pages were viewed and which buttons were clicked — so we can tell what is working and what is confusing.

For our own outreach, we keep a record of publicly available real estate listing information, including listing addresses and the name, brokerage, and publicly published business contact details of the listing agent.

Why we collect it

To fulfill and deliver your order, to contact you about that order, to process payment, to keep records for accounting and tax purposes, and to let local agents know the service exists.

We do not sell your information. We do not rent, trade, or share it with data brokers or advertisers.

Who we share it with

Only the services we need to actually run the business:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Resend — sending order confirmations and email replies.
• Supabase — the database where orders and delivery details are stored.
• Vercel — website hosting.

Each of these providers only receives what it needs to do its job. We may also disclose information if we are legally required to.

How long we keep it

Order and delivery records are kept as long as we need them for business and tax records. If you would like your information removed from our marketing list or your customer record deleted, email us and we will take care of it — no forms, no runaround.

Marketing email and how to stop it

If you are a local listing agent, we may email you once or twice about FreshSet using publicly published business contact information. Every one of those emails identifies who we are and gives you a way to tell us to stop. If you reply asking us not to contact you again, we mark it in our records and you will not hear from us again.

Order confirmations and delivery updates are transactional — you receive those because you bought something, not because you subscribed.

Cookies

We use a small amount of browser storage to remember what is in your shopping cart between pages, and to keep the owner dashboard logged in. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email anthony@getfreshset.com and a real person — Anthony — will answer.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant and affects existing customers, we will say so by email.
